As a college student, one of the harsh realities I am constantly faced with is that where I live isn't the cleanest and where I take classes often times isn't in the newest buildings. Being a student at a private university in Washington, DC I have come to learn that moving forward with campus development almost never includes the "greening" process.
Leave it to the University of California system to leave everyone in the dust and grab hold of this initiative by actively developing green dormitories and classroom buildings. Here's what i want to know, will the UC system still be greenest once the Stanford project is complete?
